Doesnt scan barcodes at all.

Did exactly what I wanted and scanned numbers into a spreadsheet

This will scan the UPC on stuff like bottled water, but I cant get to scan the barcodes on serial numbers for computers, phones, or other electronic devices for inventory purposes. Therefore, its basically useless.

I bought the app with the intention of tracking computer and electronics inventory but the app simply wont scan any barcode other than retail packaging. I feel violated! ;)

All the techs in my company are now using this program to scan in equipment to be taken off accounts. It is very easy to drop in a folder and use VBA with excel to either update databases or rearrange or rework data as needed!

I love this app!! Its made my job as an IT Manager MUCH easier! Ive been looking for a low cost solution to IT Inventory management for a while, and the purchase of a new label maker and this app has helped me tremendously. I just print all the equipment information on a QR code for each device in our facility. When inventory time comes around... I simply scan everything, export to Excel, add info for columns that change (like condition, warranty status, etc) and Im done! What used to take me weeks now takes me 15 minutes, and for only $3. I couldnt ask for anything more. Thanks for making this app!!

The app is great and does what it claims. The layout needs to be reworked. Big settings button and small scan button? The dev just needs to get with someone with a little bit of design sense.

We needed a QR scan-to-spreadsheet App, and that is exactly what this is. It issuper simple to set the column header naes in the App, so that when you email out a .csv file,it looks exactly like it needs to. My staff can scan anything we need, and email me the .csv list. i proofread, and forward the file on to vendors. It does exactly what I wanted. And the Berry Wing folks replied immediately to a question I had during sutup, and followed up to make sure their answers worked (which they did).

This App would be good if it could also capture the UPC info from the scanned code. Having to type in the info defeats the purpose of scanning.

I use this to count physical inventory. Then I upload the spreadsheet to our software system. Pairing with a Bluetooth gun scanner is even nicer. Try buying a data collector! Both this app and a low cost scanner gun together give small business a $600 value for less than $75! (Not counting the cost of my iPhone).

This is the best app I have downloaded for our company. Its very easy to use and saved us months of having to hand type the product UPC codes. Thank god I found this app. You guys did an amazing job on this one. Just awesome! A must have for any business owner

Would like features to develop pull down menus or click boxes for options that dont necessairly require text entry.

Great support. Mr. Barry answered my email very quickly. Unfortunately it does not create a database (even on a single phone). So if you wanna type every single part into a smart device and print to a spreadsheet, this will do that. Its very easy. It wont even recognize a repeat scan of a device youve already entered and populate the fields. I just have a spreadsheet already created, so it was no use for me.

I organize large meetings and needed an app that would track attendance. This app does exactly that! I created IDs with QR codes that contain all the info I need and now I can stand by the door and scan everyones ID. I get a date and time stamp with each entry too. Absolutely awesome!!! Thank you!!!

I needed to scan code 128 bar codes from a large number of products so I could create inventory manifests of boxes of misc products. This App worked like a charm! I was able to use the continuous scan and scan 100+ items without stopping. Then I was able to email the data to myself in a Excel spreadsheet (the email file is very small :-)) Quantities within the bar code are recorded automatically, but manual entry is required is awkward. Works well in poor lighting areas, too.

The concept is great. But the set up and data transfer is not even in the neighborhood of intuitive. This program uses some icons in manners that are different from app & sw standards. OK for a free app but this one is not. After this proj is completed Im looking for a different app

Wrote a review containing this apps issues but was rejected because of a duplicate nic. Cant waste anymore time because I need to go manually enter data captured with camera into a spreadsheet.

Working on a project that requires me to collect serial numbers and other info from 2500 pieces of Cisco equipment. Looked into traditional barcode scanning systems and after seeing what some of those cost I tried scan to SS. I ran into an issue with long fedex return label tracking numbers when I opened the file in Excel. Sent an email to support and had a reply back within hours. Emailed back and forth a couple more times and the issue was with Excel not the app. Very happy I found this app. Feature request: select whether or not to include time stamp in export, select rows to export.

Kudos to the developer! Buy this app!!! It works just as stated. This is a straightforward solution to barcode scanning and data storage. I looked at a lot of other apps. None of them could do what this does. Dev, thank you so much for taking the time to create and support this wonderful app. Keep up the great work!
